Grap-IV Imposed in Delhi From Monday
CAQM(Commission for Air Quality Management) of New Delhi declared delhi’s pollution state to be STAGE-IV which stands for Severe+ Category on 17 November and suspended Most of the School classes with few exceptions.
SCHOOLS Closed In Delhi From Nursery to 9th & 11th
Delhi’s chief minister (CM) Atishi tweeted last night on X (formally Known as Twitter) around 9:38 PM That All The physical Classes will be Discontinued for all students, apart from 10th & 12th, schools are suggested to hold online classes, previously they discontinued nursery to 5th classes but as Delhi’s AQI Mark hit 450+ and it entered in Grap-IV All physical classes except the ones giving board exams are discounted and encouraged to hold Online classes untill further the orders.
Stage-I, Stage-II, and Stage-III actions were previously invoked on October 14 and now the decision of imposing Grap-IV was made after an urgent meeting of the GRAP sub-committee on November 17, which talked & reviewed the current air quality, meteorological conditions, and forecasts from the India Meteorological Department known as IMD and the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology known as IITM.
